Opportunity – Associate Photographer
The Dumfries Stonecarving Project and Blueprint100 are excited to announce a new opportunity for local young photographers under 30 years old. We are seeking an Associate Photographer keen to document ten events scheduled as part of the Dumfries Stonecarving Project between November 2018 to July 2019. The events will be held at Dumfries Museum, The Stove Network, Dumfries Town centre, Lochside & Lincluden. In addition to documenting 10 specific events, they will be tasked with producing an open Stonecarving Photography Competition in the Spring of 2019.
A fee of £1000.00 (including VAT, materials & expenses) will be paid in equal parts by the Dumfries Stonecarving Project (which is led by the Dumfries Building Heritage Trust) and Blueprint100.
To apply, please send a cover letter detailing your previous experience of photographing public arts and creative heritage events, and an updated CV to email@example.com no later than 5pm on Monday, 19th of November. In your cover letter, please be sure to highlight any experience you might have photographing people, or documenting people involved in creative activities.
